<p>BigData, which is a vast amount of information generated from various sources, hasenormous potential for innovation, business development, and improving the quality of life. However, this potential comes with significant risks related to the protection of personal data, information security, and human rights. The exponential growth in the volume and complexity of data poses newchallenges for society. The mass collection and storage of information about every aspect of ourlives, including personal preferences, habits, and movements, opens upample opportunities for abuse. Leaks of confidential data can lead to financial damage, reputational losses, and even physical threats to citizens. Unauthorized access to Big Data can be used to manipulate public opinion, discriminate, and violate civil liberties. A key aspect is the development of comprehensive measures to ensure the security and ethical use of Big Data. This implies not only the development of advanced encryption and information security technologies, but also the improvement of the legislative framework regulating the collection, storage, and processing of data. In addition, it is necessary to develop ethical standards for professionals working with Big Data, which includes responsibility for the transparency of algorithms, the prevention of bias, and ensuring fairness in data-based decision-making. The purpose of this publication is to compare the experiences of national legislation in individual countries in the field of legal regulation of the collection and processing of Big Data. Methods: comparative legal, analysis of regulatory framework, formal legal. Results: the features of legal regulation of the collection and processing of Big Data in the Russian Federation are considered; issues of legal regulation of the collection and processing of Big Data in the USA are investigated; The legal aspects of regulating the collection and processing of Big Data in Germany were analyzed</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>персональные данные</kwd><kwd>реидентификация</kwd><kwd>база данных</kwd><kwd>массивы информации</kwd><kwd>цифровая экономика</kwd><kwd>правосубъектность</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>BigData</kwd><kwd>personal data</kwd><kwd>reidentification</kwd><kwd>database</kwd><kwd>information arrays</kwd><kwd>suigeneris</kwd><kwd>digital economy</kwd><kwd>legal personality</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Гражданский кодекс Российской Феде рации (часть четвертая) от 18.12.2006 №230-ФЗ // Собрание законодательства РФ. – 2025. - №1.</mixed-citation></ref><ref id="ref2"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Федеральный закон «О персональных данных» от 27.07.2006 №152-ФЗ // Собрание законодательства РФ. – 2024. – 2024. - №3.</mixed-citation></ref><ref id="ref4"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Куракин Р.С.
